Difference between new and old model AR's?

Can anyone tell me what the differences are between the newest AR's and the older models?

Also, do the new AR's that will be available before Christmas comes with the kydex sheaths now?

I believe the new folders are flat ground as well. Does anyone have a pic of a flatground AR?

Thanks for the link to that thread, although I confess that I can't actually see what the difference is.

So, exactly how many "generations" of the Strider AR are there?

The newest are flat ground and come standard with the kydex sheath, is that right?

Also, please, anyone that has an AR or a GB, is the thumbstud reversible at all, or even removable?
If it's not reversible at all, maybe I can remove it and install that one armed bandit device?
