I'm sure this has come up before but from looking at Pics the only difference I can tell is the blade on the Woodman looks a little more upsept.

G'day Winny,...Robert Clemente probably best describes the main differences in his booklet.'A Catalog History of Schrade Knives'...whilst both are 9 1/2" in length the 165OT Woodsman blade length is 4 5/8" while the Mountain Lion 160OT is 4 3/4".. he describes the Woodsman blade as a full Sabre blade while the Mountain Lion he calls a "modified sabre clip blade"..the blade design of course are the obvious differences...Robert summises that the 160OT Mountain Lion may have replaced the 165OT Woodsman as the 165OT was dropped by Schrade in 1991 one year after the 160OT was introduced...<The 160OT was marketed and sold in 1989 but was not introduced into the catalog until 1990>
I simply love both of these Old Timer versions.....Hoo Roo

The Mountain Lion was an OT version of the stick tang Golden Spike knife, albeit with a flat grind and full tang. Compare the profiles laid side by side and you will see the resemblence.
