Difference in Pacific and Pacific Salt?

I've seen both of them but one has a large H1 on the blade. The other does not but says is H1 steel. Just different year models?

I believe the H1-engraved version is the same knife, but newer. I think the clips changed at some point, too. I have an older Salt I that didn't come with the Ti clip, but the new ones have it. Hope that helps. :D
 
IIRC:

"first generation" - no writing on the blade and usual standard clip
"second generation" - model name on the blade and Ti-clip
"current generation" - H1 writing on the blade and Ti-clip

:)
