Difference in steel

Give XHP a shot. It feels the most like a non SS as any SS I've tried. If you desire you can reprofie a beautiful polished edge too. Sounds like we look for the same things in a steel, and if so you need some XHP. There was a brown LW Native in XHP, just saying[emoji6]
In general I am not buying knives due to blade steel. To carry a knife I have to love overall design. So far Spyderco didn't make my favorite designs with XHP. The second when Spyderco will put N5 with XHP on dealers shelves, I will pull the trigger :)

Love XHP!
Domino and Para 2 are wearing it and both are fantastic!! Very easy to get it stupid sharp!

Spyderco is spot on with all their steels . I have or have owned pretty much all of their available steels at one time or the other .

Unless your just out to try a super steel go for what model you like the best ,Spyderco brings it across the board.
Cts xhp Is a great all around blade steel and is easy to maintain IMO.

If edge holding and cutting ability and low angles is what you want then 10v is probably the best I've tried .
