The ESEE3 has liners and the MIL version doesn't. I think the linen slabs are a little thicker on the MIL to compensate for the lack of spacers.
I was also wondering how difficult it'd be to smooth out the pointed pommel via grinding or some other method. I assume it's been done before, so can anyone suggest a good method to do that?
...But you should probably keep it the way it is just in case you ever need it for its intended purpose.
