Differences between Original Pioneer, and newer Pioneer II?

What ARE the differences between the original Pioneer (1?), and the newer Pioneer II? The tube that mine came in is not marked "Pioneer II, only "Pioneer Drop Point ATS-34 Black T", but I was told by the guy I traded with that it was a "II" model. How can I tell the difference?

Other than the fit and finish improvements, the difference is in the lock. The original Rolling Lock has a little metal tab that sticks out of the front of the left scale, and you swing this down to unlock the knife. The Pioneer II has the new style Rolling Lock, which is a little plastic sliding tab on the left scale.
