Different blade lengths on the ZT 0450?

Just noticed this slight difference, I'm hoping someone with the ZT 0450CF can confirm this for me if it's not too much trouble?

I thought the only difference between the ZT 0450 and the ZT 0450CF was the carbon fiber handle and blade finish, but it appears the 0450CF has a quarter inch larger blade? Is this true?

Given that the listed overall length is identical on both, I'd say the 0450cf's blade length is a typo. I've seen these typos in the past on new KAI listings.

bladehq also shows the 0450 as 3.25" and the 0450CF as 3.5" :confused:

The specs on the ZT website were pretty off, and in turn in the rush to put up pages on the their websites, a lot of retailers just copied those incorrect specs. It's definitely the same size as the 0450.

I hope that's the case, I'm really liking the idea of the 3.25" blade on this. Thanks for clearing this up.
 
I just want to know when I can buy that beautiful DLC coated carbon fiber handled SOB.
Hopefully sooner rather than later...
 
It's a typo that should be corrected by now, both are 3.25". There were a few specs off on various new ZT's when they first put them up on the site and a lot with the new Kershaws that clearly weren't right (like the blade being longer than the handle for a couple models I looked at).
 
I'd go with the specs in the ZT 2016 CATALOG.

The ZT website is off in various areas.

For the new ZT folders announced at the 2016 SHOT Show:

  • 0456: Catalog MSRP is $300.00 vs. $275.00 on the website.
  • 0450CF: Catalog blade length is 3.25" vs. 3.5" on the website
  • 0220: Catalog MSRP is $285.00 vs. $275.00 on the website

Also, notice that some ZT regular production models that are Elmax will switch to S35VN: 0801, 0801BW, 0770CF, 0566, 0566BW, 0566CF, 0620, 0562.

Lastly, some that are not marked as Discontinued on the website do not appear in the ZT Catalog so they've probably been discontinued: 0560BW, 0301 and 0350SWCF.
 
The ZT website has now corrected the following to agree with the ZT 2016 CATALOG:

  • 0456: Catalog MSRP is $300.00 vs. was $275.00 on the website.
  • 0450CF: Catalog blade length is 3.25" vs. was 3.5" on the website
  • 0220: Catalog MSRP is $285.00 vs. was $275.00 on the website
