different para military liner lock

I am still trying to grok how anyone thinks the compression lock is in a difficult position. Use index finger, push the lock tab, flip knife closed. What could be simpler or easier?

Yeah, after holding one it becomes obvious how easy it is to close.

i originally thought it would be kinda awkward to use but after watching a few youtube videos it all made sense. i just pinch it between my pointer finger and thumb and the blade drops down, and then i stick my thumb in the hole and close it the rest of the way. i've seen some people swing it open and close to. it's all up to you.
what's nice about it is your fingers are out of the way when you're closing it. i don't know how many times i skinned my finger trying to close a liner or frame lock.

There is a huge difference.. The compression lock is more secure for me.. And it is MBC rated by spyderco.
If the military had the compression lock. I would own one of those also.

The compression lock rocks! Its the main reason I want the Para 2. That and I hate to be left out of anything... :p

Yeah . My DLC para 2 has the bottom frame, dated 01 11
The compression lock is the best its ever been in my opinion..
I want to say this thing is amazing.. Broken in and functioning better than ever. The upgrades are amazing, got the lanyard going to. It just goes with the knife.
