No, more so than any other knife that can be "flicked" open. Almost all of the modern knives made today could be considered "gravity knives" if one uses this definition: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravity_knife.

It's a tough call. To open my knife the way I do take a very quick snap. I don't the an LEO would ever discover it.
