Thought you guys might get a laugh out of this at my expense.:D I was workinng on finishing the first knife that i will actually offer for sale.......well, that has been delayed as you will see. The blade was sharp and scratch free, the guard was all finished up and ready to be atttached and I was working on the curly maple handle. I had it properly drilled for the pin and was shaping it. Got it pretty much down to where I wanted and was tuning up the butt to make it nice and even, Note that I did this "tuning" with the handle off of the knife......you can see where this is going..lol. It looked great, so I stained it with my special blend of Fiebings dye and put a number of coats of linseed oil on it. So here I am with a finished handle ready to test fit it. It fits perfectly! no gaps or bumps at the guard, perfectly smooth, etc. Then I look at the "perfectly tuned" butt. It has a twist to it. Not a little one that can be corrected, mind you, but at least 10 degrees... I neglected to make sure that the butt matched the front of the handle...DO'OH....did all of that "tuning without checking the REST of the handle......fortunately it was curly maple and I have a LOT of that stuff. Back to the old drawing board.:p

Non PC response....

If it was easy, a bunch of girls would be doin it. :D

So can you claim its a left or right handed knife and thats why handle butt is off set

I have a hand-forged corkscrew, it's left-handed

I've also used "It's french."
