People, I have an option to buy a piece of steel marked DIN 1.4112
C-0,9% , Mn - 1.0%, Cr-18% , Mo - 1%. Si - 1%

It is something like 440B or 440C Someone worked with it?
 
It's 440C :D Puma Knifewerks uses it exclusivly know in their german made knives. the spainish ones or Puma IP is 440A:barf:

.9% is a good amount of carbon (That ain't 440a). 18% is a lot of chrome. You will definitely want to look into the HT info, because I'll bet all the carbon wants to stay tied up in all those carbide formers and is going to need a good long soak, way up high.

Nathan, is that mean that I have to keep it into quenching temperature - 1050C more time? Or to temper it after the quench for more time?
Sorry, guys. My technical english is not so well. :o

Is that a good steel to buy at all? I will buy an 1.2510 (AISI O1) too in late time, but I still wonder about 1.4112

Yes, you are having to keeps it into quenching temperature ~1050 more timer
