Ding a ling

O-1 blade. Edge quenched & tempered to med straw. It rings like a bell when ever it taps anything. I went around using other knives and metal things and this blade is the only thing that rings so well. Why in the heck????

If she had a crack in it she'd have a dull clink sound.

Probably just the geometry of the blade.

That's an easy one. The live steel that has a special ring to it came from foundrys that have Dwarfs. They whistle while they work and some of that gets sealed in the steel.

Feel good, I get all my steel from places with evil elves. Guess what noise my knives make!

Thanks folks. I guess I wasn't planning on using it to stalk sentries any way. Then again maybe I can market it as a 'windchime distraction' fighter??
