Dinged for AK47

Just got a ship notification today....after emailing last week requesting that I be contacted before shipping. It will be interesting to see how this goes - probably 50% chance it gets sent back to Busse because of no signature.

Why not register with UPS for a UPS Mychoice account, and then release the package for delivery online?

That is what I do, but I live in an area where I am ok with UPS leaving my package at my house while I am at work.

The service is free, by the way.

I just got an email saying the status of my order has been updated to "shipped."
Sage and Black Canvas.
17 days after the ding.
No tracking number yet.
 
Mine shipped out a couple of days ago but was accidentally sent to our freight forwarder in Nevada. Needless to say a quick email to Lexi and it's all sorted, been recalled to Busse and will be heading down under very shortly. :thumbup: :D

I wouldn't release the package for delivery, as I was out of town. My previous attempt to have a UPS package changed to "hold for pickup" was unsuccessful - I was told I couldn't do that until delivery had been attempted unsuccessfully...this time, I was able to do so (after confirming that I would be home early enough to pick up before close of business for the weekend). Black canvas on sage.

Good deal - it's nice to be able to control the delivery; before this I had a few trips to the UPS office.

I have had UPS divert packages for pick-up several times when I was receiving firearm components, but the process could certainly be different in other parts of the Busseverse.

Congrats on your AK!

I discussed something special from Mr. Brown for mine, should be very nice!

Received notification today of shipment:thumbup:
Scheduled arrival Friday 4/29.
Tanker grey/ black canvas ( apparently they ran out of the black canvas and we're waiting on resupply)
 
Me to tanker grey n black canvas. Mine won't be here till the 3rd though... :( but at least she's on her way:)
 
I should be getting mine on Friday as well!! Looks like that combo mist have gone out last.
 
David Brown made me a nice looking Kryptek Typhon sheath for mine it looks good with the Tan micarta handle. Now I just need to make the shoulder harness with some paracord.
