Dinged for AK47

That is the guy that runs the Sword Buyers Guide. You would think that a guy that demos blades for a living would be a little more safety conscious when making a video.

I got one of those katanas on my search for indestuctable blades before I found out about Busse Combat steel.

That's why I'm totally stoked to get an AK :thumbup:
 
Sweet, I will be watching my mail now. I ordered a Tan Micarta and black AK47. I wonder if I can get some kind of over the shoulder rig when I try and get a sheath for this. I'll want something tough enough to survive the apocalypse, haha. Can't wait to chop some melons with this guy this summer.

I didn't watch the video, was he unsafe in that he did actually hit his foot/sandal? :confused: I always get a chuckle out of mentions about safety and footwear when using big blades... as any place you forcefully hit with a sword or chopper that isn't protected behind metal is going to be unsafe whether you are barefoot, in sandals, shoes, boots, etc. Your safety, like many things, depends far more on your choice/style of action than your gear, just saying. ;)
 
Yea I just went and confirmed my order and I was Tanker Gray and Black. Read that it is pretty easy to strip

I'm having Mr. Brown make me a special version of his long rubber/Kydex drop down adapted to mount the sword sheath from the top, and hold the sword at the right angle. I like the Tek Lok attachment system.

The other thing I have and know will work are either a leather sword frog with a large diameter mount, or a baldric rig with a large mount.

I haven't been dinged yet.
Ordered on 12/09/15 when they went up, one Black w/Black Micarta and one Tanker Gray with Green/Black G-10.

I just received an email the other day for my battle saw being ready so I shot Lexi an email to see if my AK is ready or close to ready that way they can both get shipped out at same time. Really hoping ill get a response that my AK is done aswell! If not no worries.
 
woo hoo just paid for mine :)
Looks like I will be making a Whole bunch of AK sheaths really soon :)
