From the pics the blade of the new SH-e 2 looks as if it was of the same lenght as battle grade SFNO blade is.
According to the specs BGSFNO is 7" and SH-e 2 is 7,5". Is there any difference in blade lenght between the two in reality?
Also the grind on the real SH-e gen 2 is a bit lower to what we saw on the pic on bussecombat.com. How is the bevel and the cutting edge on the new SH-e? On the thicker or thinner side (in Busse standards of course ;-)).

Thanks for the pics. Assuming the BGSFNO and SFNO share specs, that definitely puts the SHE2 into perspective for me.

At some point, I definitely see trying to get my mitts on the E2 series knives. The BME2, SHE2 and MSE2 all look like winners to me.
 
Don't forget BAE2. Which looks spectacular.

And MSE is not a gen 2. Brand new model.

Here's mine that came in yesterday. It's next to the Ratmandu for size comparison.
 
The SHe2 is a half an inch longer than the BGSFNO. Just measured them.

I am also curious about the edge thickness.
 
Mine landed earlier this week! Feels great in hand...have a feeling it'll be an excellent all-arounder. Can't wait to strip her!

SHe & SHe2 bad lighting and slightly off angles, but you can clearly see the extra room in the new handle, and the higher curvature in the older handle.

The older one fits me like a glove, but I am excited to try out the new one and it is really growing on me.
