Dinged on the Regulator

Yesterday I could be seen walking around the house with a Regulator in hand, massive fondle-fest with that knife.
 
Oh yes, the fondle-fest is ON.

Pictures don't do this knife justice. Remarkably light and well balanced.

The handle is great. Fills the hand and the flare up at the top is just about perfect.

The swedge is fat and rounded so batoning won't tear up your baton.

Pretty sweet knife for the money. :thumbup:
 
I agree that it feels very light. Just got mine. Very surprised at how light in the hand it feels. Measured a little over .33 at the spine, and very sharp with this FFG. I like this a lot more than I expected I would and now regret not getting more.

I can see why this would be such a great handle choice on the Basic Kukri now.

Does anyone have this current FFG version and the hollow ground version? Thoughts between the two?

I agree on everything. Handle feels great, feels light in hand, has a heck of a thick spine and a nasty thin grind.

I almost wish I'd gotten a tanker grey and muddy brown with my sage, at this price.

I like it so much I think I'm gonna make a thread about it with use pictures.
 
Had mine out most of the day in the woods today...it was awesome! ....my first res c handle too.... lovin this handle and blade!
 
this thing really is scary wicked sharp. denny did a amazing job the tip is needle sharp its insane. and the res c is awesome feels so good
 


These two got here on the same day... I've found myself just... holding the AR while watching TV, feeling the balance of the blade. I've always been a fan of Bowie style knives- this sure as shooting didn't disappoint. Gotta find a sheath for mine, it's replacing the RatManDu on my Plate Carrier.
