Just found this thread so thought I'd post my latest.

Thys Meades is a young fella from South Africa. He has made some stunning fixed blades under the tutelage of the late great Rob Brown. Where Thys has suddenly learned, in such short time, to produce folders like this is awesome.

A couple years ago he came stayed in our house a wee while and I suddenly received this as a thank you.........that is some thank you..!

He's managed to create polished and satin hand-rubbed areas, the effect is wonderful...

Lovely way the heel of the folder emulates a Loveless...

One of the best-looking Customs I've seen in a while Great skill in getting the scales running into the bolster and that finish on the bolster itself, very satisfying.

He can come and stay in my flop-house if that's the sort of presents he leaves
