I just received this in the mail today from a fellow Forumite. I never anticipated finding one, much less one in mint condition! I'm very excited to own this piece of Spyderco history, and this has become my "Grail of Grails"! :)

Thanks a lot, PAL. Now I'll never be satisfied with mammoth scales again.
I'll have to have dino bones on all my knives. That'll be expensive. Just kidding. Very nice piece. - DT

Congratulations Felly. This is one that definitely eluded me. I located one or two over the last few years, but could never talk anybody into selling one. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

It's a shame they had to kill and entire dinosauer just to make that knife handle. If we keep this up they will be an extinct species.

No Lie...Beautiful Knife...I'm Jealous :-)

When I showed it to my wife her reply was "Wow, that's cool looking"! And this comment from a person that could really care less about knives in general. Although I will say she never has anything negative to say about my knife collecting, so I'm pretty lucky! ;) :D

Amazing piece...If they really did use some kind of fossil for it, curious what kind they used. Used to be a bit of a prehistoric biology geek as a kid. Then again, doubt real bones can be remolded like that, I'll assume it's just a really awesome finish.

I love the handles, Wonder if I can get all my future customs done in Dino bone, whatever those things that look like blood worms in it really give it a real unique look. If you ever want to let her go, look no where else for a buyer. I WANT IT Bad!

BTW JT, that knife you bought with the oosic and damascus is beautiful!! Congrats.

Congratulations Felly,

Very rare piece in very nice condition. 1 of 30 pieces given to 30 very special people 20 years ago.
