Andy and I have worked out a deal. I make sheaths for his customers - and he keeps those photos he took in Vegas to himself!

I want to simply post a thread with my pricing:

Basic sheath - no dangler - no firesteel - 65 shipped

+ Dangler: 5 dollars.
+ Firsteel Loop: 5 dollars.
+ Simple embossing = FREE for Andy's customers.
+ Tooling - Negotiable.

You buy the knife from Andy - he packs it up and ships it to me. I unpack it - wetform the sheath with YOUR knife and finish it to your specs and then send it to you!

When ordering for me - specify all the things above as well as color and lanyard tubes and I will make it up for you!

I put together a slide show that showcases some of my work. There is plenty to choose from by clicking the first picture below:

Here is a slide show that shows some more of my work and some of the close up shots of my stitching and the like:

For a slide show - click the picture directly above!

Here are some pictures that just show off Andy's steel and my leather:

TF, since you used my knife do I get a commision for sales:D. I look forward to you doing another sheath for me when Andy finished this next run. You guys both do great work and it is a pleasure dealing with both you guys.

Ted,

Oh I am pretty sure I could make sheaths for a knife ALREADY sold to you from Andy and offer the same offers...

I am flexible like that.

Semper Gumby.

That is a sweet pic!!! Thanks for posting it! What do you think of the Hunter?

I like it really well,it fits the hand perfectly.I let my friend coaldigger check it out and he was impressed as well.

Talfuchre - do you do anything like this? Bushcrafter and Woodsman size, left hand, possible with retention strap (hidden snap, at least on the part that lays on the knife handle)?

I'd have to measure something and get back to you on how low below the belt I'd want it to hang. For now presume 4-6" from top of belt loop to top of basket portion.

I am not sure how that sheath works. It looks only thick enough to hold the blade - but is long enough to hold the hold the whole knife. I am not sure that sheath is for that knife is it?

Here is the deal, I can make a sheath that is not a pouch, basically holds only the blade and has a retention strap that would grab the finger recess and hold the knife in place. I can also do that tooling - no problem.

You would need to decide how you would want the knife to be carried, and as you said, how far down the belt.

No problems. Another idea is the mount a strap stud on the face of the sheath instead of a snap. I think those look so much better.

Its just a pancake sheath that comes up to about 3/4 of the length of the knife.

I have a hard time getting knives out of pouch sheaths. If I had you do this I'd want the pancake to end somewhere between the corby pins. Then since it would be on a drop loop, a retention strap of some sort for a little extra security.

If you've ever seen the nylon sheath Buck uses for their Nighthawk knife, it could be something like that but, hopefully, with the good looks of Andy's pancake holster. I wouldn't want the strap at the top of the loop though. And left-handed...

WAM,

I can do whatever you want. I see now what Andy did - and I can do that, most likely better and be more sexy while I do it! ;)

I can also do a pouch sheath. The reality is that I can terminate the pouch wherever you want me to, and wet form the sheath as tight or as loose as you want me to. It is up to you.

Do you want to do a sort of drawing to get your ideas down and I will make it as close to that as I can?

TF - just got off the phone with Andy and I'll be having him ship you my bushcrafter, when finished, and the hunter I just bought. I'll get something more specific written out and PM you and see what we come up with.

Talfuchre

I need one of your sheaths with a removable dangler for the new FiddleBack Woodsman I just got from KnivesShipFree.

Can you email me to discuss costs and options. Thanks in advance.

Vino

I am in the exact same situation as Vino. I absolutely want one with the removable dangler and firesteel loop for a Woodsman. Your work looks very nice. Not quite sure how to contact you except through the forum. Maybe I just suck at the internets though.

Thanks
