I picked up a Microtech Makora when they first hit the streets.

Superb knife. . .but man, that skateboard tape is about the most ignoring stuff that I've ever seen ! And hell on pants pockets !

I've seen diplomat's work and decided to dump the skateboard tape and go with something that would better suit the knife.

Well. . .

I received the knife a day or so ago. . .

Absolutely beautiful !

Matt's workmanship is superb. As is his attention to detail.
I greatly appreciate his efforts in keeping me informed as he performed his surgery on the Makora.

I couldn't have asked for anything better !

Yep. . .rayskin.

I've always enjoyed the ascetics of rayskin !

I went with black (Matt offers other colors) with a "ridge" down the front. The rayskin goes very well with the knife. . .and the "ridge" really sets it off ! :D
 
I hooked up with Matt a few years ago and he has always been a pro from day 1!!!! Gig that knife is S W E E T !!!!!!!!:eek:
