>>SOLD<<<1. Al Dippold Carry Bowie
many know Dippold as a maker of beautiful folders but here is one of his rare fixed blades.

no use or carry
10 3/4" o/l blade 6" to guard.
Blade is marquenched W2, nickle silver guard, deep Desert Ironwood.
Tremendous feel in hand, perfect balance, light & agile. The ultimate large hunter.
Custom Kenny Rowe basket weave pin sheath. The only flaw is that the brass stop pin shows slight corrosion...easily polished out if so inclined.

$soldUS shipped. Paypal is fine.

2.>>>SOLD<<< Trace Rinaldi TUK2
minty fresh

7 3/4" o/l 3 1/2" S30V Paul BOS heat treated blade

Carbon fibre slabs with red liners

exceptional workmanship & hard to come by
$sold US shipped. Paypal is fine.
thanks,
Bill

Bill, I never thought I would see the day, when you got rid of the Dippold(but, then again, I said the same thing about myself once). ;) :)

Must be something "Really" sweet incoming.

Oh, by the way, the steel is marquenched L6, not W2(but who's keeping track?) :)

I am! :)

I now have two knives that were owned by Danbo at one time. Bet I am behind most, tho.?

Thanks for the update on the Dippold.

Bill,

You were right about the snail mail, but the Dippold Carry Bowie did arrive today. I wanted you to know I really like it...it seems to have a certain 'Danbo' look about it.

I was wondering...the number 53 stamped opposite Al's maker mark...would that be his 53rd fixed blade? Just curious.

Thanks for all the communications and a great knife.

Yes, that's exactly what the 53 means. It's the 53rd fixed blade Al made.
