Dirty Girl!!! Becker BK2 review

Nice pics and write up.

To those who get them for a beater knife for the kids, how well does the knife hold up the the "beating" they give them?

Good stuff Jake, nice writeup and good pics. That thing sure does absorb a lot of 'pain' without blinking an eye.

Very well written review Bro! You covered alot of key points

Great pics as well

J,

You're a bad man... I've wanted one of those since I saw what Ilbruche did with Rocky's.... That's handy looking little knife!

i handled one once at a knife shop; their handles are really comfortable. in spite of the fact that it is in no way up my ally, i have thought about buying one just because of the handle.

That's a such a great knife, thanks for the review.

There were two things I didn't like about the knife - It seemed a bit heavy for the length. Almost too heavy to the point where weight would not be an advantage in a blade that short.

Also - with my sheath the button failed quite quickly and didn't snap the retention strap closed securely which wasn't really too much of an issue since the kydex holds it snug.

Nice review, j. I recently sharpened a couple of those Beckers for some owners and I was impressed with their sturdiness. I think Ethan put a little of the "Brute" in the BK2. BTW: that 1095 CroVan will take a very good edge.

Really?? Im so impressed with it, I think I just might have to pull the trigger on one.

Theres a Camilus BK7 on the exchange right now thatis callin to me.:o

I used my BK2 today to make vent and drain holes in a metal drum. The look on the other truckers faces was priceless as I pulled the knife out, fist grip, point down and in three swift stabs, made a triangle cut. Took the butt and knocked out the steel. same with the drain hole.

Eric over at OnScene Tactical just made up the sheaths for the BK2, BK9, BK3....... ;)

Cmdr is a really cool guy. I got to play with this knife one day before the passaround began. It is huge! Nice review J!

I remember that. You guys had the table full of steel!!!! Is there no other way to roll?;)

Great review, Jake, and thanks to this thread, my BK-2 will forever more be known as 'Dirty Girl'. :D

Doc

Hey, Jake! Thanks for the compliments and the great review. No problems on the timing - it seems to be working from my end too. I'm hopefully coming out of a really busy phase and hope to have more time. I'll PM you the next address for the passaround on 4/9.

I appreciate that you cared and took the time to do such a review. The timing on it just seems perfect for everything.

Glad to see everyone's posts in here as well. I've missed my brothers! I really want to say thanks to everyone that's participated, followed, and cares.

It will be all around North America before the end and someone will be lucky enough to keep that one!

Talk to everyone soon!

Cmdr

Dirty Girl rocks!
