Dirty Salt

I use Boraxo powder and a stiff fingernail brush on white FRN. Works great, can't see why it wouldn't work on yellow.

I would start with hot water, regular dish soap and a brush. If that doesn't work, move up to something more abrasive.
You could also run it through the dishwasher. I recall Sal posting about running FRN handled knives through a couple of cycles. This was before Spyderco started using H1, so a Salt shouldn't have any problems. I would pull it out as soon as the cycle was finished and blow out the water though.

saltwater and hardcore use...my theory is that salt water cleans it well...and when that doesn't work...i just use soap and water...not as fun or exciting....

soap and water who what have ever thought it would be that easy, thing looks brandy new. thanks everyone for the input.

Sal, she sure does like to get dirty! And thank you for the amazing knife. Its pretty crazy how easy it was to clean , i mean the thing was almost blue from my jeans (never mind the dried fish blood) and it came right off. thought for sure it was worn in there.

I use mine at work. It gets full of grease, oil and dirt. I also use Orange Zep and Simple Green at work. They clean it up just like new with no damage to the FRN. Probably any good non-solvent grease cutter would work well.

Love getting my salt 1 dirty. Thing is a brute of a worker. My favorite spydie folder I think. I'm a huge fan of the Delica 3 handle design. It fits my hand better than any other knife I've had.
