Disappointed by the Buck 110

I actually like the stock leather sheath. But haven’t worn it out yet. We’ll see how it feels after a day of carry and Ill make the call after that
 
After buying multiple 110s, lite, premium versions, regular 110, I am also not impressed, my premium 110s all had play that slowly got bigger the more I opened them and one had front and back play that was noticeable when you press the edge against an object I intended to change. Sold all and never looked back
Just me, but I think new buck definitely isn't old buck, if you disagree

Awww man, just when I finally get on the 110 bandwagon, you go and post this 😆

But, yes, if I ever buy another one, I’ll handle it in a store first . I thought ordering directly from Buck would guarantee you a good specimen but apparently not always . Luckily this one locks up tight with no blade play. So I’m happy

cant disagree if ya dont explain better what youre saying.

so when did "new" Buck start in your take? under Lane Tobiassen helm? under CJs helm? under Chucks helm?

is "old" Buck when Hoyt and then Al ran it?

Ah yes the ol' only original owners/founders made things good saw... We should write off Randall, Case, and CRK because they're not first generation anymore. As we all should know, legacy owners are only out to run daddy's company into the dirt. I doubt Reese Bose can make a knife either...

Couldn't tell ya, only can say every 110 I bought had issues I feel shouldn't, I emailed and asked about the blade play in the ones I got off a major online retailer and they never responded so --- it's what it is, some people, not me, but some people, had solid 110s since the 80s. what I keep getting I wouldn't exactly trust to last as long.

I've had plenty from the 80s 90s and on with blade play. some without. much like today's stuff.
