Disappointed

Shifting the focus a bit, I hope Busse does more shows like the KC Annex this Spring. A hotel banquet room. Tables of INFI. All HOGs - all the time. Quick, easy... like the ugly chick and the band geek ad. ;)

You might be on to something here. Could be a new way for Busse to do a show. It could even move to different parts of the East, within a reasonable drive time from Wauseon, where there might be a good concentration of piglets. It would be a business decision, Jerry will have to determine how the KC show did for them. OTOH, maybe Garth and crew would rather stand out in the cold and wet for three days.

I'll tell you what, the one of us who has more Flying Badgers takes them. :D Do you feel lucky? :D

LOL... Of COURSE I feel lucky!! ...But since you already know how many I have, that ain't gonna happen. :p

Now... If you'd like to up the ante to "who has the most Busse Badgers"... I might just take that bet!! :D;) Think carefully... Not all I got have been photo'd & posted! LOL

I responded to the statement I made. And if I'm wrong I have aplogized. I wasn't trying to slam anybody. Busse makes great knifes and they seem to be very fair in their pricing. As far as the showing at the Indy 1500, after seeing what was offered at Knob Creek, I think it still it is a little pathetic.

Are you really sorry about your words? You have made a strong and inaccurate accusation. The difference between the Swamp Rat Skeleton Warden and the Busse Skeleton Game Warden is about $100 in price. Do yourself a favor, be sure to know the facts before calling a VERY well respected person's integrity & honesty into question. I would suggest that you show your sincerity with respect to your apology and edit out the accusation in your post(s). Otherwise, your apology doesn't mean a whole lot.

In other words... You done frakked up. Time to backpeddle at full power.

Just some friendly advice.

No way, you know I have sold off most of my stash. :)

Just gotta throw in my 0.02...I have purchased a couple of blades from Mike, and he is a great, stand up guy. And for the record, he gave me a break on a rare blade  :D
Can't go wrong dealin' with Hammy, and there has been a nice selection of blades for a while now at the Indy and Columbus shows.

Fixed it for ya so PG has a chance. :D

The Eugene show was the first show that I was actually paying attention to fixed blades in general, and Busse in particular. If it was sub-par, or sub-optimal, then that was probably good, from my perspective. There was plenty there for me to fondle- more might have been too overwhelming- and plenty of patient people behind the table to put up with my FNG questions. My wife, who was supervising, even let me grab up my first INFI, modest though it was, it is still a purty little AD, to tide me over until I have an opportunity to embrace the suck. The fact that y'all were set up next to Sal made it even better! Thanks- it was fun.

Sal rocked man, I love that guy. He is a very interesting character. His stories are endless and very gracious. I am a bigger Spyderco fan now then I was before.

I agree wholeheartedly. He talked my wife into flipping his Szabofly, smallfly, and baliyo, and then kept her there spinning and flipping for about a half-hour. After that, she started having fun, and let me start buying stuff. He's a genius!

Was your wife wearing jean shorts with a tattoo on her leg?

Eugene was my first show, and I had a blast there.
It was great to actually put faces to the names on here.
Now, in regards to the curb issue:
a) I wasn't wearing my glasses :)
b) No one told me they had CURBS in Eugene
c) Les Schwab fixed the vehicle up real nice :thumbup::thumbup:
d) I'M the laid back one of the Canadian contingent.

It was great to meet Skunk and the boys, they did a great job of feeding everyone
at the table and in the evenings, although I do think that the waitress was a little
wary about that guy waving Bans AK around like that.

Had a great time.

Cheers.
Curb's

OK, CURBS is fine as a secondary, but we have named you....NASCAR!!! Thats Canadian Nascar eh????!?!??! LOL!!!!!!:p:p:p

That's the one.:thumbup:What did she do?

I was the one who told you two that I sucked with the Szabofly and would most likely cut myself. :D Your wife is really good with a knife bro and there is just something about a gorgeous women flipping a bali like that... pretty cool:thumbup:
I am going to have to buy a baliyo and practice so I don't hurt myself. :foot::D.

Thanks. It's good to put a face with a name. The funny thing is that she has two broken bones in her middle finger. After I explained who Sal was, she was all dissappointed that she couldn't show off any of the really high-falluting tricks she's capable of.

Mr Sal Glessar is definitely a fine gentlemen:thumbup: I chatted with him for sometime and he was a very humble and down to earth guy. Brian of Okuden is also a fine gentlemen that I took a liking to almost immediately as I talked with him. It was also a blast meeting Ed Schemp and his prodigy Jose Diaz who also happens to be a competition cutter. Got to see Wayne Goddard but unfortunately did not get a chance to chat with him because he was such a popular guy and folks were always huddled around him.

Josh,

We need to make sure to get your cell phone next time around so that you don't go MIA again ;) We all felt really bad about losing you in that traffic.

That's the one.:thumbup:What did she do?

Man i will tell you what she did,I was trying to show Dunner some knives and she kept whipping that knive around:D
Everytime i stuck my hand in to grab a knive,I thought i was going to get sliced:D Timeing is everything with her
