Disassembled Folders - 2011 Voyager, Griptilian, PPT, etc...

That's not like any Voyager from CS I"ve seen or owned. It might be the Nogales folder or something like that. Voyagers are not recurved like that all. keepem sharp

Ah, shows how much I know! I thought they were labeled Vacquero and not Voyager. Wicked for sure though. keepem sharp and thanks

Yeah they are rocking 3 blade shapes now and 3 sizes (not all available yet as far as I know). These have a more up-swept tip on them compared to the older Vaqueros and Desperado - persian/Chinook-ish style. Actually does very good going head on and then the curve effects the travel of the blade after it's penetrated the media.

Thanks Chris, I gave it a try and still didn't see the option for it. Maybe a Mod will be browsing the thread and hook me up. Would be great if people do a google search on a folder they are considering bump into the thread and get to see the internals.

hey OB, edit your first post, then 'Go Advanced'. That will allow you to edit the title.

OrdnanceBubba, how thick do you reckon those liners are? I read that they are T6061 aluminum, must be pretty light!

I guessed before about .110-.120 but I disassembled the Voyager again and they are roughly .065-.070 as it shows a hair over 1/16th on a tape measure.

The scales and STR clips look awesome, like the shape of the Wilkins G-10 scales a lot.

both seem to be excellent products (i've only been using it with these a couple of months so the jury is still out.) The G-10 scales are really nice but the trade off is that they make the knife much heavier. The Cuscadi micarta scales give the knife a good feel without adding a ton of extra weight. I'm going to do a review on these after I put them through a little more use.
