For some reason I realize only now that it is possible to disassemble new Delicas/Endueras which now have scrue-mount until I saw commertial about this in some magazine.

This mean that I probably can make my own scales out of exotic wood or G10 or something.

It is really easy to disassemble it, but assembling it back little bit tricky. There is pin on spacer which can fit steel liner only if spring is relaxed. So I did it by assembling it back without blade first with pivot taken out. after I put liner on thet pin I carefully put blade with bronze washers back while holding lock open. But otherwise it is pretty easy to do.

Making my own scales will require make it the way that liners will be hidden. This is original design. I am thinking to make also my own liners - little bit wider so they will be open and so it will be easier to make scales.

Only problem is how to make holes which are not round.

Sal, is it possible at some time make this optional wider liners for Delica/Endura?
Or is it possible to have optional scales out of CF or G10 or something like BM now offering for Rukus.

Thanks, Vassili.
