Hello, I am interested in getting a Spyderco Worker C01 model. I like to be able to disassemble my knives. The early C01 models look like they do not have normal screws holding the scales together. Has anyone taken one of these apart or something similar. I can see on some photos it looks like they used rivet like fasteners and sanded everything smooth.

Thank you,

Those older Spydercos are pinned together. It looks like the first-generation C01 model was in the all-stainless handle with the pins ground flush to the handle. To disassemble it, those pins would have to be drilled or driven out, after which they'd be damaged or distorted and unusable for reassembly.

Long story short: It wouldn't be worth taking it apart. And unless it were already damaged in some way and needing major repair, there's really no reason to disassemble the knife at all, just to keep it clean & maintained.
