Disassembly/Reassembly of a Kershaw A/O

I've got a Scallion and a Leek that I would like to take apart and clean, but I've never taken any knife (other than a simple lockback) apart. Is there anything I need to be aware of when taking apart an A/O knife? Does the blade need to be open or closed for any particular part of disassembly or reassembly? Any tips, tricks or especially pictures would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!

" No Disassemble. No Disassemble " couldn't resist that line from one of my favorite movies. Just leave it open when taking it apart, nothing real tricky about it. If it is a warranty issue , you might consider sending them in to Kershaw they will take care of it and send them back very quickly at no charge to you. Their customer service can't be beat !

I cant find the thread I was looking for w/ pics, but its a pretty easy job to take it apart. I do mine w/ the blade halfway open w/ no tension on it. The torsion bar has an end that goes ino the blade and the other end goes in the backspacer. A T-6 and T-8 torx should be the only tools you need.
