Disc Grinder Motor frame type

What frame numbers will work for mounting a work platen on a disc grinder? I was told that a 56 C would work, Will a plain 56, 56H work or does it have to be the 56 C model? Thanks for the help.

Craig, The Beaumont Metal Works adjustable rest works only with a 56C motor per their site information. Maybe there are some other work rests for disc grinder that will work with other motor designations. Here is a photo of the Beaumont rest that I use. Larry
