Disc Grinder: proper fit for 9" disc on motor shaft

How tight should the bore of a grinder disc be when installing directly onto a 5/8" motor shaft? Both the bore and the shaft are clean, but the fit seems very tight. I recognize that there should be no slop, since it is a precise for to ensure minimal runout. However, this feels like it will require a press fit, shrink fit, or dead blow hammer. I definitely want to be careful not to damage either the disc or the motor. Can anybody advise on what they've experienced or successful installation methods? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the quick thoughts. I haven't even tried a fit with the key yet....only without. I'll get a little more aggressive on the deburr tomorrow and give it another go.

Success. Checked my deburr, test fit the key, then slid the disc on after a little heat soak. Math says it opened up the diameter by about 0.001" while warm...slid on using just fist bumps at the hub.
