well, ya hear bad, ya hear good, i have never had a prob, BUT others have. i dont know what to tell ya, honestly, they have always done me right is all i can say........there prices are ok, but not the best on mthe stuff i buy anyway. but they are in the top 3-4 for sure.

Let me take this opportunity to welcome you to Bladeforums.

You will probably want to do a search of The Good, The Bad, The Ugly forum. Just click on the "Search" button located under the "Remember 9-11-2001" banner. Under "Keywords" type in Discount Knives, then go to "Search Options"/"Search forum" and choose "The Good, The Bad, The Ugly!". Quite a lot has been posted about Discount knives over there. Some good, some bad.
 
I'll go along with them giving good customer service.

And if when doing your search, look in this forum and not just the good, bad and ugly forum and you will see some discusion about a month ago about just this subject. Some were unhappy and others had a good experience.

and you can try http://www.dirtcheapknives.com/ , but they seem to get the same hate em or love em responce.

There's been some recent discussion about DiscountKnives and DirtCheapKnives, as Logan5 points out. But I'd say the consensus weighs in against DiscountKnives and DirtCheapKnives. Personally, the time wasted and hassles you'll encounter aren't worth the marginal savings that these two sellers offer.

It also depends on whether you ever return knives or how important service is to you. There's a good thread over GB & U forum about someones experience with a 20% restocking fee. Places like AGussell have ironclad return policies that always favor the consumer-but charge more.
 
Quigs: if you live in anywhere other than the states, don't even consider. This guy just don't want to deal with anyone outside of the States. My thread should be in the good bad and ugly.
