I bought my Dad a Sharpmaker for his birthday. When we opened it on Sunday, two days ago, one of the white stones was warped. Sent Brian an email Sunday night. Tuesday afternoon the replacement stone showed up. That's about 40 hours from email to replacement in my mailbox!

I bought a Lansky deluxe set from Discount
Knives recently. Made me feel nervous.

After submitting my completed online
order form, all I get is a "Thank You" page.

I don't get my order receipt to print and
file.

I don't get my order no. for future
reference.

And, they don't have an online order
tracking system.

All of the above are important for tracking
and reference in case of foul-ups.

Sure I got my stuff, but I do believe that
they need improvement on this.

Just before Christmas I had a knife that was not included in an order.
I emailed Brian and he had it delivered express on Christmas eve.
I was able to give it to it's intended recipient on Christmas day.
The cost of shipping was more than the knife.
Got a better story on customer service?
