Discounts for Fiddleback Forge Website

Andy and I discussed this topic again today and hammered out the details. The way we handle discounts now will be a little different, obviously, since sales are on the site and for a larger audience.

Military/LEO/Fire/EMS Discounts
We will still offer the Military/LEO/Fire/EMS discount at 10%...as both Outpost and Forge have always done.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!

Here’s how we’ll handle it:
1 - A person reaches out requesting the discount. support@fiddlebackforge .com
2 - Person sends proof of service using the same email they’ll use for orders. Email to support@fiddlebackforge.com. We’re very relaxed on what this requires, so that it’s not difficult for anyone. We use a common sense approach here.
3 - We then tag that customer’s email in our system as being able to use the promotion code.
4 - Customer uses discount code EACH TIME they check out. The promotion code is: SERVICE10

Remember you have to be added on our end for the code to work for you!

If you were previously on Outpost's eligible list...you have already been copied over. You can get the discount on both sites! If you were not setup previously, you'll need to email us to get setup.

Pro Tip
Once you are on the approved list, you can also use a URL to go to the site that would automatically apply the discount to the cart so you don't have to put it in manually. However, you should have the code handy just in case the link doesn't work for some reason.

The 10% discount for reviewers WILL be available. To qualify, you will have to send @VANCE a link to the review (outside of Fiddleback Forge's Subforum on Blade Forums) a Fiddleback Forge knife that you wrote.

Firstly, none of the discounts are changing at all when you buy a knife direct from Fiddleback Forge directly at Bladeforums during group buys, or at shows. The gold member discount included. In addition, I have negotiated to have each of the other three discounts honored at fiddlebackforge.com. There will be no change to where you can post reviews either. They just have to be out of this subforum, with a thread containing a link here to the thread. It will add an e-mail to Phillip to the process though. I find those delightful and I hope all of you do as well.
