DISKIN USA At The 2015 Blade Show (HURAK PrOJECT DONE)

Paul my friend you were missed. I hope that we can catch up next year. A few of my blades will be heading your way soon!

All the best.........Steven

Joe as usual you are the glue that holds so much of this community together.
Blade could never be as successful and enjoyable with you and so many of us in this hobby/industry owe you so much......

It was a great pleasure to see you again.:)

Steven my dear friend

It's patrons of the arts like you that make this all possible

Like the Medici's of old ....with out people supporting and pushing these great artists none of this would be possible

You have my profound thanks my friend

Okay guys

I'm about to upload the final video which besides having a lot of my friends in it it has my haul from the show :)

I have been so busy and there are so many excellent knives to post and speak of ......

As soon as I post this last video I will begin doing so

I am so very excited about these pieces

Thank you all

Great videos Joe, they really represent the excitement and grandness of Blade Show.
It was nice catching up Thursday night after the CKCA banquet.

Joseph, I'm being as patient as possible, but you are driving me to the fringe edge of my medication…………….

Post video number 5!!!!! I am not getting any younger!!!;) By the way the package of Superman powder came today. Thank you.

Paul

Pappy

It's uploading now

Where the hell do you live that it takes so long

I might as well mail another :)

Okay guys

Here is my fifth and final video on the show

It has the knives that I was fortunate enough to bring home from the show

I must really emphasize that the Blade Show is really all about the people not just the knives

After working the shows the last few years it truly is one big happy family

Video 5 thank you all

I will be posting up blades that I was fortunate enough to get ....... They are quite special :)

Alright that was awesome. Next year a time lapse of setting up and breaking down the cage and booth!:)

Great to see you Joe.

The first piece went to one of my favorite collectors .... Regretfully not me

The Knight Gladius

This piece is just so good

Someday I hope the back story on this piece comes out

This Sword reminds me of the old story of Atila the Huns sword

It was said to have a plain strong handle and guard but the steel was the best of the best

This Gladius woul make the Emperor proud

Its handling characteristics are amazing

Jason truly is a Master Bladesmith

It truly is the finest Gladius I have ever seen

The two Knight project pieces are just pure Knight wickedness

The Khuk is probable one of the most wicked weapons I own

It is so sharp it's sticky

Rather frightening :)

I can not think of a better edged weapon and I own a lot of edged weapons

Balance and speed are even better than the last project

In fact it rivals the first fullered Khuk Jason made me

I will get a pic of all three together and post it up

The fighter is a wicked little fullered bastard that doubles as a great utility and even a hunter

Great all around knife

Erik's knife for me was one of the Very best I saw at Blade

Fantastic ergonomics

A wicked upswept blade and great leather make for a hard carry package to beat ...... Believe me I know :)

More to come

I gotta get to sleep :)

These video take show reviews to a whole new level. Thanks, and congrats on the terrific new additions, Joe!

Thank you all

Here is a favorite of mine

The David Mirabile Aikuichi Casry Bowie

What can I say about this piece

Raw organic pure wickedness :)

A blend of the Orient and the classic American Bowie

What's not to like

Matt DISKIN blew everyone away with these exciting Varients of his flipper design .......... They did not last long

Record sell out

Sam Lurquin will Crush the mighty Hurak project with a varient with a slightly larger guard than the norm to my eye

This was the fastest selling project of all time

Sam launched it from his Facebook account late at night and I awoke to over 100 emails for slots

Thanks Sam:)

And my last acquisition of Blade 2015

This was meant to be one of Sams test Knives

I have always been a Musso Bowie Fan

When I saw Sams take on it I was in awe

Only Sam could capture this classic design in the way he has

Wade Colter who I have huge respect for commented that it might be the best he has seen ....... This to me means a lot

Forged from W 2 with a wicked Hamon and with all fittings , guard and sparing bar done in explosion Damascus this Bowie will be my submission to the Blade Best Bowie (John White Contest)

It is incredible in pics but it is breathtaking in person

Heft and balance are incredible

A true Blood Meridian piece

The Lurquin Musso Bowie
