Dismantling Byrd series

Was wondering if any of you know how to dismantle this series? I have a cross bill and would like to make the handle a g10 as well as do a little blade work on it. Same with my Cara Cara.

same as any pinned knife

put a little acid on the pivot area and try to see the difference between the pin and the scale.

try to punch mark the centre of the pin, to drill a hole
drill out the pivot pin
it's not easy and you will likely drill off centre...ruining the scale as you do so...maybe you don't care that much if you will replace the handles with g10
