Displaying Our Buck Knives

Impressive display! and some very unusual Bucks. I'm gonna do my best to attend the 30th in Post Falls. djw

Haebbie, always good to hear from you. Thank you. We are making plans to attend the Collectors 30 year anniversary. I displayed my collection at the 20 year and I will bring it to the 30 year. Lord willing. We will be glad to see you wearing your European Bavarian Alps attire. DM

That will be great, David, to meet ýou there. Then I saw your knives eight years ago. I didn't know that these were yours. but this time ...
The Bavarian outfit? Joe H. told me to leave the stuff at home ant to take my bow with me to go for a hunt with him before or after the celebrations. Well, I think I'll take the bow ...

Looks like a nice little show. They were lucky to have you there, David.

TAH, it usually is a good show and the people are friendly. It takes an hour or 2 to go thru eye balling every thing. Thanks, DM

Haebbie, ok. You'll know more after the 30 year. Looking forward to seeing you. DM

Landerhausen / Bavarian Outfit.

Winning thread David. Thanks for sharing. I see someone beat me to the camera date.:D

Habbie

Now where's the Beer Maidens?;)

Great Buck Knife display, and a good way to represent the BCCI. I will see at the 30th with my BuckTool display.

Thanks Mr. City.
bucktool, thank you for your positive comments. We enjoy representing 'the Collectors'. DM

Nice thread and BUCK knife pictures! Thank you.

I am glad that you, your wife and dog had a great show.

It sounds like you have/had a great group of knife people there who have tables and good attendance.

Thanks again.

Cate

Thanks Cate. You're right. Even the Security Guards at the private entrance for us selling folks. Each morning as we arrive they ask us to return home and get our dog & bring her for them to visit with. She's that popular among them. They will gladly take her while we sit at our table. They're really good to us and good to the Colonel. With military veterans standing at attention as he shuffles by with cane in hand, headed to our table. They know what he's done for the cause of freedom. It's a military city with 2 bases close by. They know the value of good tools and firearms. DM

David,

You're welcome.

Side note: I am still having data error, cloud flare and other problems on and off (Day or night.) when I come to the BF website so if I don't reply to some posts in a timely manner... that is one reason other than looking at real estate.

Outstanding report about your show!

It is good to read about people who have respect for other people (Military and civilians.) and for nice, well behaved and good dogs too!

Thank you again.

Cate

Cate, yes I get that fire cloud error message at times. I've found turning off my computer and allowing it a minute or 2 to rest itself helps. Your welcome, DM

Thanks for all the pictures and stories to with them David! I Spent the most wonderful vacation I have ever had close to there in Mayhill and Cloudcroft while attending my wife's 2005 high school reunion in Weed! Beautiful country and good folks! I sure would like to go back someday!

Peter, you're welcome. That area is beautiful. You've Got to come back during the apple & cherry season. There are stands on several farms in that area and they sell these fruits, just picked. Plus, some make cider. We drive the 200 miles over to get some. Then eat them all the way back, telling stories. Haa. We spent our Honey Moon in that area. A Great area for hiking, fishing, camping & hunting. Thanks, DM

Fate, thanks, it was a load of fun. We always enjoy seeing all our friends as this makes 22 times we have displayed our collection. Have to think on how many years. We can usually make back our table fees and enjoy some barbecue. Plus get to shop for some items we can't find. People are friendly and share some good stories with us. The next show is Oct. 15 & 16. See you there. DM

Late to post, but David again nice display and thanks for promoting the BCCI / Buck name. As a side note I personally am glad you wrote the sharpening article in the new newsletter. Helped a lot with my sharpening skills or lack of. Hope spring is on the way as it "seems" to be here in NE.

gsea, you're welcome. I am very glad to hear the article helped you toward creating a better edge. Warm, mild weather is with us. Which causes the trees to bud and bloom.
But we will still get more snow and freezing temperatures, & we need winter moisture. Thus, the trees well get bit and we'll have no fruit this year. Still, this warm spell is a welcome sight. Thank you, DM
