Dissapointed(Traveler SF)

I just looked on amazon where I ordered it and there is no explanation of the wave feature. Just thought I was getting a regular knife and was pissed it was almost cutting me everyone time I wanted to use it.

You didn't realize that the giant Hook on the blade would Hook on things?

Really?

Maybe return the knife and get something more your "speed"? It would appear that this knife might be a little too complicated for you to operate and dangerous for you to simply own. There are several "Opinel" models for you to choose from, Victorinox, and other such items.

Dan57 beat me to it, but these were the first things to jump to mind...

OP- A waved knife can be drawn from the pocket without using the wave. Just practice. And if you need it, it's there.
You will not find a knife that locks onto your hand like an Emerson knife.

Or banging your head on the wall because it feels so good when you stop.
I want to thank "Mr. Dangerous". I have not had a laugh/cry like this in years.

OP is the kind of guy to buy a Spyderco and return it because of the hole.

I feel bad for the OP here.

Actually, I feel bad for anyone that has money and is willing to spend this much of it without researching the product. Perhaps I should take a harder line and say, "serves 'em right", but I can't help but feel sad.

lmfao x 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:d:d:d

So the OP has internet to sign and post but he can't look on youtube what he bought??? he is either incredibly stoopid or... well, I just can't think of anything else

To be honest, the OP would have been able to use the knife without that issue if Emerson's were 4-position carry drilled at the factory. Any tip-down carry would negate the wave.

This was entertaining for a second. My advise is to stick to the good old butter knife, But please wear a helmet.

greetings all,
as it is the holiday season, I will generously trade this bridge I own for the emerson. no questions asked. i'll even step out and throw in a utensil package from KFC. no wave but no worries on getting future sutures. best regards.
