  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Dissappearing Laser Engr8

it ain't just emerson. laser engravings dont last at all. for any brand. I have Bucks and other brands that are the same as the ops, not as cleanly removed but faded badly, but from use though. not from chemicals used to clean. I'm not a fan of laser engravings due to this wont last. prefer stamped in the steel or acid etched into the steel methods.

that said its harmless to the knife as being a knife and used as a knife. also collectors who dont use their knives, wont notice this happening.

Is your issue resolved Justabulletaway? I am having a similar issue with a Patriot. The engraving is starting to fade away on it.
I was told that this is not covered under warranty because it does not affect the functionality of the knife. I was given a one time code for 20% off any one item on the Emerson website.
