I really like the district 9 flipper but some of the aesthetics were just weird. I hated that the backspacer and pocket clip were a different or lighter color than the scales, the lbs was too shiny and the blade just did not fit......so I decided to try my hand at fixing it. I acid washed the blade and then stonewashed it in my rock tumbler. Acid washed the lbs and then beat it up to look antiqued and stonewashed the backspacer and pocket clip. To darken them I used dark rocks which dulled the color nicely. Tell me what you think....I think it came out pretty good. I am no knife maker but for a hack......I was happy.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1424493581.832477.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1424493590.109216.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1424493599.498363.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1424493615.710684.jpg
