Diversity and different knives for different tasks

Great thread and all interesting posts. Often go with how the spirit moves me concerning knife purchases. Often interested in a tactical/defense type but often a fixed blade or folding hunting knife gets my interest up. Nice to own several blades for different applications. Few years back thought a super rugged folder might come in handy so settled on a Buck-Topps CSAR folder. Bit on the weighty side for EDC but could come in handy

A certain whittler on this forum has been a terrible influence on me and I'm now the happy owner of a LT Wright Boattail.

I have a guess on who that is, and if that guess is correct, he influenced me as well.

On top of that, someone else was very kind enough to loan me his Boattail and Pronghorn for this newbie to try out. That resulted in me buying a Boattail from TKC last night. (I can't find any Pronghorns.)
