Divulge your Darlington

y'all making your own sheaths or has someone found a sheathmaker who's filling this task?

That’s my model Scylla! It’s a fancy bolster set. I don’t make it too often because I want to keep my prices low, but I’m always up for customs!
Every bit of that blade is vintage linen, one of my favorite materials
That's a beauty!!!!
What's it called......????? Any more.in the.near or.far.future.😉

I didnt look at every knife but few i did, didnt. I saw mention of a sheathmaker on her site but didnt notice a link to their site or any easy way to reach out to them....but I didnt really dig in hard just a quick look over....I may have missed the obvious.....
So my sheath maker makes custom sheaths! If you are interested in having a sheath made for your order, just email me and I’ll give you his info. He does excellent work!
I’ll update how the process works on my site some time today :)

I've not heard of this maker, but they appear to be extremely close to Fiddleback Forge knives. 🤔
She came on board in March of this year. I've never seen anyone learn as quickly. By Blade Show her knives had tapered tangs and the finish was as good as mine. IMO, she's a savant. She's gotta get a better teacher, but I'm sure she'll overcome that. Works her ass off around the shop too. I'm lucky she stopped by.

Audra Draper, (Master Smith), was a good friend of mine and probably the only female knife maker I ever really got to know well and own work from...I see a budding star here under your tutelage. I've seen several patterns now that have caught my eye. I'm sure I'll have to own one.

Now thats a hell of an endorsement!

Here it is! Already started using and it's handled everything with ease. Nothing extreme yet, mostly kitchen and other EDC duties.

BladeForums!!! darlington.edgecraft darlington.edgecraft has only been making knives since March of this year. The main grind is amazing, the swedge is 99% perfect and it has a tapered tang. I don't know when she made this particular knife but it's incredible for the short amount of time she has been making knives.

Carley said I could nitpick 🙂 - there was no card with knife details and the contouring is ever so slightly deeper on one side. The contouring isn't a bad thing as it locks in my thumb on a pinch grip.

I have contacted a maker for a sheath and I plan on carrying/using this one a lot in 2026! Thanks Carley!
