How about this for something a bit different? I was actually given this last year for Christmas, and I just recently decided that it was something that I would get more frustration out of than enjoyment just because I am a perfectionist with this kind of thing, and I tried to do it for 5 minutes before getting super frustrated with myself. It comes with everything seen here and a bit of fine steel wool. The kit has everything you need to do your own scrimshaw.
The knife is a two blade trapper - the bone is real and has a nice look. The blades are probably stainless, and there is of course a China tang stamp.
I thought this could be a fun thing for someone else to try.
