DLC 3V Magnum Tanto II is available and not badly priced if you search around !

Agreed it’s a good deal but who knows how they are getting their steel and how it’s heat treated, who knows if a huge conglomerate company like GSM would cut corners to cut costs to improve quarterly earnings, it’s all about the bottom dollar to giant companies like this and people at the top who probably have zero interest in knives are making the decisions. I can’t and won’t buy anything since the purchase. I’ll continue to spend my money on great Old Steel knives when Lynn was around and was making OUTSTANDING knives across the board. Sorry for the rant.

I get what you're saying , but so far I've not seen too much problems with the quality of higher end of new manufacture (post-GSM) .

GSM has done nothing to make me feel secure in trusting their commitment to excellence . 🤮

Most of the better stuff (from Taiwan) seems to be OK so far...so far as I know . 🤨

That is the only one of the DLC tanto series that is still reasonably priced.

The Magnum XII and Master Tanto DLC versions are out of production and every site I saw them on listed them as "back ordered."

The Magnum IX is around $240.00 or higher.

Both of my Magnum Tanto IIs were around $180.00.

$150.00 is a very good deal but I don't think I need a third one. 😀

Yeah , I sure as heck don't either ! ;)

I don't think there is a need to worry about the quality of the DLC knives, even if GSM has the factories in Tawain make their knives to lower standards.

Considering how the DLC knives have been disappearing over the past year or so, I suspect they have already stopped production and the ones are the market are the last of them.

Both of my Magnum Tanto IIs have the old logo while my Drop Forged Bowie I bought a couple weeks ago has the new logo.

I kinda think so too .

Makes little sense to have both DLC and uncoated, both , in production , at least for Cold Steel .

So this is a collector opportunity ! 🧐

😍Makes my man parts ache with envy and lust ! 🤩

Just one heck of a mean macho fighting knife ! :thumbsup:

I'm NOT an investor / collector , but I'm pretty sure this knife will be selling for multiple this price in a year or two .
People will wish they bought so many Old Steel knives once GSM proves to do what all conglomerates do, trade quality for profits and that will be the slow death we will all witness.

I'm sure the DLC Magnum Tanto XII has been out of production for over a year.

When I looked about a year ago I did not see any on the various online stores.

I saw maybe two places that had the DLC Master Tanto (I think they are sold out now) and the Magnum Tanto IX was somewhat common and the II was easy to find. I guess they made many more of them than the others.

I see one available for even cheaper , if its the real deal ? Not a trusted source .

I'm weakening in my resolve to not buy this thing ! 🥷
