Mine came in a nice white protective outer box , with heavy brown kraft paper wrapped around the CS box . YMMV of course !

Blade had some heavy dark grease , to prevent rust on the 3V .

Knife was inserted into the sheath already . So some gook will be inside there too . No big problem .

Mine arrived on expected date .

Got my "consolation buy". Still has the grease. I missed the other one by seconds but happy to get this for $17 more. Nice contrast to my Japanese San Mai IX.

Well worth that price , even if you have to replace the sheath , IMO !

Oh and thanks for the heads up, I would have the $112 one if I had moved quicker but still came out OK, I would have missed both otherwise.

I got the £112 one, I think it was the last one... It's gone to my freight forwarder so I won't get it for a while (I am in the UK) the pics showed the flat ground one but someone else said they got the hollow ground one? I prefer the hollow but just to confirm from that seller for the £112 deal, what knife did you get? Also what model no. Was it on the box?
