DLC coating

Hey guys,
Because i know so little about blades and the such. I am coming to you guys for answers. Does any know how to put a DLC coating on a satin blade? is that a do-able process? Can anyone do this for a small fee?

I just googled "DLC Coating" trying to find out what you were going on about... lots of great info and linkages to who does it and on what -)
