Love DLC. Helps keep the blade from gunking up, improves corrosion resistance (not that CTS-XHP really needs it), makes it more of a slippery cutter. Looks good, too. I also like the finish on my BassPro 110 (CPM-154), titanium/aluminum/nitride or whatever, for the same reasons.
This blade is at the DLC shop now. I can't wait to see it afterward.
Benchmade (Ritter) Griptilians in CPM-M4 were stonewashed after the DLC. They have a VERY cool finish. I asked Doug about it at last year's Blade Show. "Never again" is what he said.
