DLT Trading... Excellent. USPS...not so much

On Sat. Dec. 6 I placed an order from DLT Trading. They shipped my order literally within a few hours. Way faster than I anticipated, since the website says they ship orders Monday - Friday. (Perhaps because of the Christmas season.) That was the excellent part.

USPS, though, was a joke. I finally got my order on the 20th, exactly 2 weeks later. Wisconsin to Maine should've been 5 maybe 6 days tops. I think USPS should take lessons from DLT, they might learn something.

My thanks to DLT for the fast shipping, even if USPS was slower than molasses in January.

Definitely something to keep in mind. I sold a few knives a couple of weeks ago and completely forgot that Christmas was right around the corner until after I sent them out (insured for their full value, of course!). They’re all marked as delivered now, and I haven’t heard any complaints from the buyers, so I’m assuming they all got there. This time. Next time I will hold off on selling (or buying) anything around the holidays that isn’t absolutely necessary.
