Well I've gotten a few emails over the past couple months (very sparse, hardly spam) from a company called dm telecom with offers of part-time work you can do online for students. Very professional emails, very convincing. The only reason I think they may be BS is the following passage.

Average weekly earnings start at $1000 to $3000 in the first couple weeks and increases...

Has anybody heard of or signed on with this company? A grand a week is hard to believe, but a few extra bucks in the pocket would be nice.

Community is not the right forum for this. :rolleyes: Moving this to TGB&U.

spam = unsolicited mass email

That one is obviously a ripoff, but then they all are....

Don't believe anything a spammer says. Don't even read them unless you find them entertaining. If ever an honest person wants to help you get rich quick, find a job, increase your breast or penis size, collect your winnings in a lottery you never entered, buy stuff cheap, or enlist your help in moving millions of dollars from Nigeria into your bank account, he will not tell you about it in a spam email.

Well, I was rather curious as this is the only spam I've ever got in that account (school email). Must have got a mailing list from the University or some shit I dunno.

I'm a little confused on why this should go in TGB&U instead of community, but alright I suppose it works?

It's no big deal. Don't respond to the e-mail and report it to the University geek squad (IT folks).
