DMD resin bonded diamond stones

That sucks but at least it came off in one piece. I would clean both surfaces with an alcohol soaked paper towel and bond it back together with 3M 77 and you wouldn't have to worry about it again. Clamp it to a flat surface for a day after bonding to help it glue down flat.

That is bad as they didn't do any surface prep to the aluminum to increase adhesion.

Thanks for that idea, I’ll do that. These don’t see much use but better to fix it than toss it.
 
It is strange they sand blasted every surface of the mounting plate, except for the one that needed it. It looks like they cut one too many corners, whoops. At least it's an easy fix.
